Delta Sigma Pi proudly supports the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing families with a home away from home while their children receive hospital care—all at no cost to them. RMHC strives to create an environment of compassion and hospitality with the help of staff and volunteers.

Each spring, our chapter hosts Philanthropy Week, a series of fundraising events to support the Central Valley Ronald McDonald House. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping families in need, reinforcing our commitment to service and community impact.

In addition to our ongoing support for RMHC, Delta Sigma Pi participates in Make a Difference Day, a national initiative held in the last week of October. On this day, all Delta Sigma Pi chapters unite to give back to their communities, strengthening the bonds within our fraternity.

Last October, our chapter took part in a Trunk or Treat event hosted by the Merced community. This event allowed us to engage with local families while spreading Halloween cheer, handing out candy to children dressed in festive costumes. It was a rewarding experience that highlighted the joy of giving back and building connections within our community.. 

Delta Sigma Pi extends a warm welcome to individuals from backgrounds who seek to enhance their professionalism and leadership abilities. As a chapter, we prioritzie inclusivity, embracing a variety of viewpoints that enrich our collective experience and empower us to become resilient leaders. Furthermore, our events cultivate a culture of respect and uphold the highest ethical standards, fostering an environment conductive to personal and professional growth.

• Delta Sigma Pi, a professional Business Fraternity, aims to cultivate ethical leadership among its members through various professional development opportunities. This includes organizing events throughout the semester and incorporating professionalism into chapter meetings. The Vice President of Professional Activities, Supported by their committee, spearheads these efforts by hosting workshops and activities. Recently, the Tau chi chapter sent 16 members to western LEAD in Reno, Nevada where they participated in leadership training and attended workshops on topics such as small chapter management, branding on Linkedin, and time management. This event also facilitated discussions on proposed changes to bylaws and the Fraternity Ritual during Delta Sigma Pi's provincial Council Meetings.
