active brother testimonies
I joined Delta Sigma Pi because I was feeling lost and lonely in school, but I knew I was interested in pursuing a career in business. When I discovered DSP, a professional business fraternity, I attended events and was welcomed with open arms. Through these experiences, I was introduced to numerous business opportunities, and it was during this time that I discovered my interest in corporate litigation. This revelation inspired me to plan a career in this field.
I joined Delta Sigma Pi because I believe that being a DSP brother will help me improve my leadership and speaking skills. DSP has been a welcoming environment since the beginning, so I knew this community is a perfect place for me to grow. I believe that as a DSP brother, I’ll be able to make a positive difference in the community and within DSP while still developing my skills and fostering meaningful connections.
A message from the 2023-2024 president

Since 2016, the brothers of the Tau Chi Chapter have built each other up to be individuals who improve the quality of our campus and community. As the 2023 Fall Semester commences, we come off a year where we were recognized as PFC Organization of the Year at UC Merced, and as a Chapter of Recognition by Delta Sigma Pi. Our chapter was also awarded for having Outstanding Financial Operations, Professional Activities, and Service in our region and province. This year, we expect to further establish a sense of community that economics students can identify themselves with. We plan to achieve this through collaborations with alumni, faculty on campus, and other organizations.
In establishing that sense of community, we aspire to maintain a strong campus presence by growing in size and quality, serving our national philanthropy – Ronald McDonald House of Charities (RMHC), and executing a brotherhood which positions you to be your most successful and prosperous self. To grow, we will look for individuals who embody our core values, demonstrate leadership potential, and possess a genuine passion for our organization. As we continue to support the RMHC, we plan to hold our annual Philo-Week in collaboration with other members of FSL during the spring semester. Lastly, in an effort to foster a strong brotherhood, we will host professional development, social, scholastic, and service events for our brothers year-round.
While Delta Sigma Pi is not the first professional business fraternity founded in the world, it is the first of its kind to officially initiate women. Today, this serves as a reflection of the level of diversity and inclusiveness our organization has always been founded upon. Through this approach, DSP has successfully initiated the most members of a professional business fraternity in the world. As we push to maintain this standard, we welcome any and everyone eligible to apply and participate in our recruitment periods each fall and spring.
I was initiated into Delta Sigma Pi during the spring semester of my freshman year, and as each year passes I grow more and more grateful to have met each of my brothers. As a first-gen, I am surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who support me during every step of my college journey and push me to do things I never knew I could. During my time, I have had the privilege to serve as our VP-Pledge Education, VP-Alumni Relations, Chancellor, and now President. Through these positions I was/ am able to collaborate with my brothers, who I must say day after day impress me with their dedication and work ethic. They show me we are more than a group of students, we are a family, and we will always take pride in being able to call ourselves Deltasigs.
